As everyone is getting back to classes and back into their routines, it’s time to start thinking about the 2020 MWCCC seasons. Please continue reading for some important updates.
Team Renewals
If you haven’t already, all teams need to renew for the 2020 season. The two forms that you’ll need to fill out are the Club Application and the Club Eligibility Form. For any teams that are either brand new or who haven’t existed for several years, your first year dues are waived. Please submit both forms to membership@usacycling.org, or send them via mail to the address provided on the forms.
If your team has a website or social media that will help students find you, please let me know so that I can update our teams page. I’ll also try to keep renewal status updated as I did last year, although currently I’m having some difficulty with that.
Individual Renewals
Once your team has been renewed, you’ll also need to renew your individual licenses. If you have any upgrade requests, please submit them now. Waiting until right before your first race means that I might not get to approve it in time. Also, if you have recently transferred schools, please ensure that you select the correct team on your license.
2020 Rules and Policy Updates
I had hoped to talk about some of the rules and policy updates for 2020 in this post. However, there are a couple of discrepancies that I’m hoping to get clarified before I do so. Look for a separate post in the upcoming weeks on that.
2020 MTB Season Planning
Yep, it’s that time already. If you’re interested in hosting a mountain bike weekend in 2020, please let me know. I’ll have the planning spreadsheet available very soon, and will update this when I do so. I’m hoping to get the MTB season planned out by the beginning of road season (March 14th).
