March 23-24 Weekend Issues

Greetings all,

Due to a combination of several circumstances, the planned race weekend March 23-24th at Michigan has been cancelled.

At the moment, we are looking at having a race that weekend in the greater St. Louis area, hosted by Lindenwood University.  Final details will be provided in due course.  For planning purposes, we are looking at a road race and team time trial at the Daniel Boone Home on Saturday, and running in conjunction with the Tour of St. Louis criterium on Sunday.  Again, this plan is not 100% confirmed yet.  Both days would provide collegiate points.

For any A riders who were hoping to use the Michigan weekend for their 3 required mass starts, I will now also be counting starts at the Marian Midwest Cycling Classic in Indianapolis April 20th towards this requirement. As the MWCCC has historically not held one-day races, this will not be a race for collegiate points. Marian University is offering any collegiate rider a $10 discount on registration by using the coupon code “midwestcollege”. This offer is only good to those holding a current collegiate license.

If anyone has any questions, please reach out to me either via email, or by phone (I’ll get back to you if you leave me a message).  I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thanks,
