Dear MWCCC members,
Due to the forecasted weather on Saturday the MSU Road Race and ITT will be canceled. The weather models are calling for 0.1 to 0.25 inches of ice along with 33F temperatures, and 20mph winds. In total, these are not suitable conditions for racing. After discussing with the race officials, conference directors and others the race will not occur this year. I am sorry for this.
However, UM will be holding the crit on Sunday as the forecast is much better for Sunday. Weather conditions will be actively monitored and UM will send out notice if this changes.
